During the submission process, you can save partial submissions by using the "Save and Continue" button, the "Save and Exit" button will return you to the account page, where you can review/go back and edit/delete/add additional. Please Note: It is up to the submitter to confirm from the account page that their submission is marked as "Complete", and the output document should be downloaded for review to ensure the contents are correct. SWIU is pleased to announce a scientific podium and poster session during the 8th Annual Clinical Mentoring Conference exclusively for urology residents, fellows in training and medical students aspiring to match to urology. Selected abstracts will each be presented as either a podium or poster presentations during the meeting. Abstracts submitted to other meetings in the previous 12 months are acceptable, but previously published works are not eligible. Duplicate abstracts from the same data set/patient cohort will be outright rejected. The podium and poster sessions will serve not only as a forum for dissemination of original research, but also provide a learning opportunity as the presenters will receive feedback on presentation style and quality of slides in a separate session. Topics include: benign prostatic hyperplasia, epidemiology/socioeconomic, infertility, sexual dysfunction, oncology, pediatrics, trauma, reconstruction, stone disease, lower urinary tract disorders, pelvic floor disorders, practice management, quality improvement/safety, and education. Begin Submission General Rules for all Submissions Abstracts submitted to other meetings in the previous 12 months are acceptable, but previously published works are not eligible Industry professionals are not permitted to present abstracts Practicing physicians are not permitted to present abstracts Trial in Progress abstracts are allowed All submissions are reviewed using a blind review process and once completed, notifications will be sent out to the submitter's email All submissions must be submitted and presented in clear English and spelling quality that is suitable for publication. Upon submission, the Submitter confirms that the submission has been revised and that all information is correct. The content of the submission cannot be modified or corrected after final submission deadline and the author is aware that it will be considered and/or published exactly as submitted. The submission constitutes acceptance from the authors regarding its publication (e.g. congress website, programs, other promotions, etc.). The Submitter warrants and represents that he/she is the exclusive owner or has the rights of all the information and content (Hereafter: "Content") provided to , Inc. Meetings and Events (Hereafter: "The Organizers"). The publication of the submission does not infringe any third party rights including, but not limited to, intellectual property rights. The organizers have the right to remove any submission which does not comply with the above. Please note that SWIU also offers a certain number of Resident Travel Awards to help defray travel expenses. Resident abstract submitters may also apply for the travel award. Abstract Body (limited to 400 words) The body of the abstract must contain an introduction and objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. Table(s), Graph(s) or Illustration(s): All tables/graphs/illustrations must be converted to an image. And a maximum of 1 image(s) can be included per abstract. The maximum file size of the image is 1.5 MB. The maximum pixel size of the image is 600(w) x 800(h) pixels. You may upload an image in JPG, BMP or PNG format only. For higher quality output we recommend your images be set at 300 dpi and crop out any unnecessary surrounding white space. Funding You must indicate any financial funding at the end of the abstract; if there is no support "N/A" must be listed. This section does not count towards total character limit. Please also note the following: Abbreviations may only be used after the words are written out in full at first mention. Abstracts will be de-identified prior to review hence please do not include any reference to your institution or authors in the body of the text. It is the author's responsibility to submit the abstract in perfect order with no errors in spelling or grammar. Abstracts will not be retyped or corrected. Abstracts not received in the proper format will not be considered by the Program Committee.
